This is android application to announce an arrival position of drivers such as a private institute driver by sending a text message between "Where are you" application cell-phone users and let acquaintances know a current position.
It can be used only if users Accept the supply of positional information, and the positional information is not saved in a separate server.
Arrival alarm function:
A private education bus, a commute bus, and a carpool bus run on a certain route so when one selects a destination and asks for arrival alarm, this function informs him/her of a current location and when a car is near the destination, it notifies its arrival through the alarm and vibration.
Users can go to a bus station after considering the arrival position and the riding time so this function helps users to board without waiting so this function is used for usual life such as private institutes, schools, commute buses, check your child curfew, and personal plans.
Current location search function:
This function is to display the other's current position, including whether children go to a private institute or not, where family, friend, or acquaintance is up to or where they are, on the map. This function can be also used diversely in usual life to check a delivery man's location and an appointed place.
How to use:
. After searching by entering a name saved in a telephone address book or entering a phone number, click "Add" button to ask for friend addition.
. If a message of friend addition is received, [Accept/Reject] is decided and accepted, [Accept] text message is sent to a requester.
. If it is accepted, a requester and an Acceptr are registered as friends in their mobile phones so they can use this application.
. If you press an registered phone number short or long, an execution menu appears.
. If arrival alarm function is provided, you have to put a check in "Setting-Arrival Alarm Activation".
Notices:
. It can be only used among mobile phones with "WHERE R U" application.
. Use after putting a proper check in "Setting" (It may also provide undesired positional information.)
. When [Request/Accept] is completed, the text-sending cost is charged, and sending and receiving may be delayed according to the line's status.
. It takes 1~5minutes to find out GPS coordinates and it may be different according to a mobile phone's GPS function.
. In indoor or built-up areas, GPS is not received properly or its signals are weak so there may be a lot of errors.
. Please use the Lite version after deleting
Recommendation:
. If you don't receive GPS and use network value, errors occur a lot so please activate Wi-Fi and GPS in your mobile phone's environment setting.
. If you send positional information to many people such as a private institute bus driver, please make sure to activate GPS and put a check in "Setting-Arrival Alarm Activation".
. To get exact GPS coordinates, please firstly put a check "Accuracy Priority" of "Setting-GPS Setting".
