Next and previous buttons are switched in older versions of MPC.
The version 1.6.0.4014 of MPC seems to have a bug in the browse functionality (special characters).
STEP 1:
Go to “View >> Options…” and select “Player >> Web Interface“
STEP 2:
Check the “Listen on Port” checkbox
STEP 3:
Make sure “Allow access from localhost only” is not checked
STEP 4:
Go to “View >> Options…” and select “Player”
In the group “Title bar” select “File Name only“
STEP 5:
Enter the IP-Address in the Apps settings.
STEP 6:

Before you are able to control the player you have to activate the webinterface of MPCHC! Follow the steps to activate it:
